The materials from the Offentliga Rummet 09 Conference (Public Space 2009 Conference) that was held in Norrköping, Sweden on the 25 to 27 May 2009 have been published. 600 delegates attended the event. The program included plenary sessions and parallel seminars a number of the presentations relate to the re-use of public sector information.

“Näringslivet kämpar för att enligt PSI-direktivet kunna skapa mervärdestjänster tillsammans med den offentliga sektorn, som i sin tur kämpar för att kunna skapa en arkitektur för sömlösa informations- och tjänsteleveranser.
Offentliga databaser kan återanvändas för att möta utmaningar som klimathotet eller inom sjukvården. Det skapar också nya tjänster och öppnar för nya jobb, entreprenörskap och ökad tillväxt.
Sju kommuner i Skåne slår ihop sina "IT-påsar" för att i federativ anda (virtuell sju-kommun?) kunna skapa fler och bättre regionala samhällsrelaterade tjänster hos både myndigheter och företag.”

Public databases can be used to meet the challenges of climate threat, or in health care. It also creates new services and the opening up of new jobs, entrepreneurship and growth.
Seven municipalities in Skåne have cooperated to create more and better regional social services of both authorities and companies.”
