APIE Participates in EC PSI Portal Meeting

The Agence du patrimoine immatériel de l’État ( APIE ) (Agency for Public Intangibles of France) has published a news item about their participation in the recent EC PSI Group meeting on PSI Portals. During the meeting, APIE presented their plans for developing a French PSI Portal.
The meeting of the EC PSI Group held the 25 September 2009 in Luxembourg focused on highlighting the importance of PSI Portals. It provided an opportunity to share good practice and ideas building on the experience of several Member States including the work by France on the forthcoming French PSI Portal.

“L'APIE a participé le 25 septembre à une réunion organisée par la Commission européenne sur les portails consacrés aux informations publiques ; elle y a présenté le projet français de portail inscrit dans le plan France Numérique 2012, dont l'objectif sera de favoriser la réutilisation des informations publiques. Cette réunion a été l'occasion d'échanger entre Etats membres sur les questions notamment techniques et organisationnelles soulevées par de tels projets”

APIE participated in the 25 September 2009 meeting organised by the European Commission on the public sector information portals. During the meeting, APIE presented their plans for developing a French PSI Portal under the French initiative ‘France Numérique 2012’ (French Digital Economy Development) which encourages the re-use of public sector information. The meeting was an opportunity for Member States to exchange of information about PSI Portals and discuss the technical and organisational issues in planning portals.
