7th Eastern European e|Gov Days: call for papers published
Prague: 24 October 2008
The call for papers for the 7th Eastern European e|Gov Days: eGovernment & eBusiness Ecosystem & eJustice has been published. The event will take place in Prague from the 22 to 24 April 2009 and will be held in Prague. The event is jointly organised by the Forum e|Government, OCG-Austrian Computer Society, Vienna and EPMA with the Vysocina Region. The announcement states that:
“The annual Eastern European e|Gov Days provide a solid platform for exchange of creative ideas and inspiring technology transfer between Western and Eastern European countries. The 7th Eastern European e|Gov Days will take place in Prague as the event, supplementing the Czech presidency of the EU.”
The call for papers invites submissions covering the re-use of public sector information in the following areas:
- National implementation of Directive 2003/98/EC throughout Europe (experience, opinions, outlook)
- Innovative PSI products & packages originated from public sector bodies or modified by private companies (business, geographic, meteorology, traffic, socio-economical, legal etc.)
- Accessibility of PSI and its privacy issues
- Economic issues of PSI
- Problems and challenges of data holders
- The end users’ view
The call for papers closes on 20 December 2008.
