The paper outlines the UK government’s current pragmatic approaches to working with Information Asset Registers. An important point made is that “From a re-use perspective the emphasis needs to be, not on the elements that make up an IAR, but on ensuring IARs are published to the web in an interoperable way.” Possible approaches for interoperability are summarised.
